The 4th Sunday of Easter

Message: "I Am the Vine"

Focus Scripture: John 15:1-8 (NRSV)

15 "I am the true pine, and my father is the vinegrower. 2 Ine remones every branch in me that bears no fruit. Every branch that bears fruit he prunes to make it bear more fruit. 3 You have afready been cleansed by the word that 1 have spoken to you. 4 Abide in me as I abide in pou. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itseff unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me. 5I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much truit, because apart from me you can do nothing. 6 Whoever does not abide in me is thron away like a branch and mithers; such branches are gathered, thrown into the fire, and burned. 7 If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask for whatever you wish, and it will be sone for you. 8 My father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples."

Communion

Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of every month. Everyone is provided with individual elements for safe practice due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The communion table is open to all who wish to know the presence of Christ. We encourage those who are at home to share in communion with us by obtaining bread, wine or juice of your own.

Children's Time

Each Sunday, a children's lesson relating to the sermon focus is provided by children's minister Alissa Huber. This time allows children to explore thoughts and understanding of their faith, in a fun way. We are blessed with a dedicated, fun-loving, licensed child care provider who will escort children to the Sunday school room after the children's lesson. Here, children will engage in an activity related to the weekly message.
